Rafting on the Stanislaus River has been a popular recreation activity here in the Central Valley for over 25 years!  And with Lake Tulloch being less than 15 minutes away from Knights Ferry, there's not a better place to take a day trip from Lake Tulloch than on the Stanislaus River.

The section of the Stanislaus we offer is a beautiful meandering 8.5 mile stretch of water that includes some of the most beautiful and preserved scenery in California.  Aside from this, groups are able to enjoy viewing a wide array of wildlife, as well as a vast array of Northern California plant life.

The Rafting Trip

The trip along the Stanislaus River is popular among families as well as those just looking to get out and relax.  The river is an ideal spot for amateur rafters to get a feel for river rafting while still experiencing the excitement of mild whitewater.  Trip highlights include the class II Russian Rapid, Lover's Leap (a cliff that majestically juts up to the left of the river), Sweep Rapid, and a number of public parks where your group can enjoy their lunch in the shade.
